How wagering works

A wagering requirement is the total amount you must stake before bonus funds, or winnings from them, can be withdrawn. A 20 bonus with 10x wagering means 200 of qualifying bets. It is the value of bets placed, not money you must deposit or expect to lose.

Game contributions

Not every bet counts in full. Slots usually count 100%, while table and live games may count partly or not at all. If roulette counts 10%, 10 staked on roulette adds only 1 towards the requirement.

Expiry and maximum stakes

Most offers must be completed within a set number of days, and many limit the stake per spin or bet while a bonus is active. Breaking a maximum-stake rule can void the bonus and its winnings.

Worked example

Bonus 10, wagering 10x, slots count 100%: required turnover is 100. If you instead played a game counting 50%, you would need 200 of stakes on that game to reach the same 100.

Common questions

Is wagering the same as a deposit? No. It is the total value of bets placed, which can include re-staked winnings.

Does a lower multiplier mean a better offer? Usually easier to understand, but expiry, eligible games, caps and stake limits also matter.

Should I try to finish wagering quickly? No. Never gamble more than you planned to meet an offer. Set a deposit limit first.

What the calculation leaves out

Game contributions, expiry, maximum stakes and other terms may change what qualifies. Read the offer in full and do not use this result as a spending target.
