The short version

How affiliate commission works

Operators run affiliate programmes that pay publishers for referring new customers. Depending on the agreement, the payment may be a one-off fee when a referred customer registers and deposits, a share of the revenue that customer generates, or a mix of both. An affiliate link may identify a referral or a specific promotion. Eligibility and the actual offer depend on the operator’s current terms; a link does not guarantee any bonus or unchanged pricing.

What commission does not buy

Our policy is that commission does not buy a place in a comparison, a better description, a higher score or the removal of a limitation. List order is not a rating; a score requires the evidence described in our methodology.

Where commercial terms ever influence the order of a list, the list says so clearly at the top. Assessed comparisons and commercially ordered lists are never presented as the same thing.

How paid placement is labelled

If we accept a paid placement, such as a sponsored banner, it is marked Advertisement or Sponsored and kept visually separate from editorial content. Paid placements never appear on our safer-gambling pages.

How links are disclosed

Offer links name the operator, appear beside significant terms and open the operator’s website. Operator links may carry affiliate tracking references. Any link that can earn us commission is disclosed as such.

What happens when you leave World’s Best Casino
